CarviQ User Guide

1. 1Go to carviq.ca and click Create an account.
2. 2Enter your email address and choose a secure password.
3. 3Confirm your address via the link sent by email.
4. 4You’re signed in — welcome to your garage!

You can also sign in with a Google or Apple account.

1. 1In your dashboard, click Add a vehicle.
2. 2Enter the make, model, year, and current mileage.
3. 3Add the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) if available — it’s optional.
4. 4Save. Your vehicle appears in your garage.

You can add multiple vehicles depending on your plan.

The door sticker contains the fuel tank capacity, tire pressure, and other useful information. CarviQ can read this label automatically.

1. 1Open your vehicle record and tap Scan the sticker.
2. 2Take a clear photo of the label (usually on the driver-side door jamb).
3. 3CarviQ analyzes the image and pre-fills the fuel data.
4. 4Check the extracted data and correct if needed before saving.

Accuracy depends on photo quality. Always validate the results.

Import existing maintenance data by photographing your logbook or a garage invoice.

1. 1In the vehicle record, choose Add maintenance → Scan an invoice.
2. 2Photograph the document (logbook, invoice, service record).
3. 3AI extracts the date, mileage, and detected services.
4. 4Review each extracted line before confirming its addition to your history.

All scan-extracted data can be edited manually before being saved.

• ✓Click on any extracted value to modify it.
• ✓Delete an incorrect line with the Remove button.
• ✓Manually add a service not detected by the scan.
• ✓Confirm only when you are satisfied with the data.

Your dashboard displays a summary for each vehicle: last fill-up, last service, and upcoming reminders.

• ✓Click on a vehicle to see its full history details.
• ✓Filter by service type (oil change, tires, brakes, etc.).
• ✓Print or export your history if needed.
